Kotebe Metropolitan University’s management, directors, deans and members of the federal police participated in planting trees at KMU campus following the call from H.E. PM, Dr. Abiy Ahmed, on 06 June 2020.
The University President, Dr. Berhanemeskel Tena, said that the aim is to paint the face of Ethiopia green, instead of red during this difficult time. The next drive behind the green legacy invitation was to symbolize the contribution that everyone can have in making green and livable environment. Over 2000 trees were planted in an ambitious move to counter balance the effects of deforestation and climate change.
