KUE Confers with Scholars and High-level Leaders upon Its Transitional Roadmap

Kotebe University of Education had a high-level consultative meeting with a panel of scholars, and high-level ministerial and managerial leaders on its transitional roadmap. The participants of the panel discussion consisted of a state minister, renowned education professors and KUE’s Board, management and technical team, and steering committees coordinators.
At the outset of the meeting, Honourable Dr. Berhanemeskel Tena, the President of the University, and Dr. Samuel Kefle, the State Minister, delivered the welcome speech, and opening remarks respectively. Dr. Fekede Tuli, the technical team leader, also gave a brief introduction to the transitional roadmap. Following that, four scholars, namely Prof. Yalew Endawoke, Prof. Belay Tefera, Dr. Wondweson Tamirat, and Dr. Meskerem Lechisa reviewed the roadmap document and presented their unreserved enlightenment on it at the event. The technical team coordinators also had the opportunity to reflect on the points made by the reviewers of the transitional roadmap document.
In addition to the professors who presented their views at the forum today, the President said other high-level academic experts also took the document and reviewed it, and once the document has been properly developed, it will be presented to stakeholders at a broader stage.
Eventually, Ato Abadula Gemeda, the KUE’s Executive Board Chairperson, remarked that Kotebe has to fully exploit the expertise of the scholars to bring change in the quality of education that is desired to happen in the nation.
It is well recalled that Kotebe rebrands itself from a metropolitan-oriented institution to an education university.
