KMU Supports War Victims in two Regions of Ethiopia

Kotebe Metropolitan University has mobilized aids of foods, sanitary facilities, bonded mattresses and other supports to the highly vulnerable war victims of the Afar and Amhara regions. The President, Dr. Berhanemeskel Tena said that this support has been offered for the third time since the TPLF clique orchestrated war against our country and left spilling unrest across the two regions in Ethiopia. In different phases, the University’s community pledged one month salary and already provided for the GERD project; and in the same year, the staff offered additional one month salary for the Ethiopian National Defense Army. The President added that this support is life-saving assistance being transported for those affected by war. The loads to the Amhara region is led by Dr. Hailemichael Mule and to the Afar by Mesfin Wondosen. On the farewell program, the President underscored that, “Our University’s community is always committed to assist those who pay heroic sacrifice for the Unity and dignity of this great Nation!”
