Kotebe Metropolitan University has won Honorable Mention Award for second time in two consecutive years. The Award was presented to the University by the Ethiopian Quality Award Organization at the ceremony held at EFDR’s Grand Palace on the 18th of September, 2021. It was remarked that the Award has been given to the University after a rigorous assessment against international standards of quality pillars for higher institutions. The major pillars of the evaluation were leadership, policy and strategy, resource management, customer satisfaction, institutional performance and impact on society.
Dr. Berhanemeskel Tena, the President, acknowledged on the event that KMU has achieved this success through collocative efforts made by all University communities amid the COVID 19 pandemic hostile and threatening working environment. The Present hence congratulated all the University community members for the remarkable achievement. He also accentuated that further tremendous efforts have to be made for the institutional transformation. On the conclusion, Dr. Berhanemeskel calls on every University member to work hard in order to sustain this glorious achievement to a higher standard in the years ahead.
