ኮተቤ ሜትሮፖሊታን ዩኒቨርሲቲ “የነጩ ፖስታ ጎርፍ ወደ ነጩ ቤተ መንግሥት” ንቅናቄ ዘመቻን በይፋ አስጀመረ፡፡

የእናት ሀገሩ ጡት ነካሽ የሆነው ጁንታ በፈጠረው ችግር ምክንያት የምዕራባዊያንን እውነታውን ያላገናዘበ ፍርደ-ገምድል ውሳኔን በመቋወም ዜጎች ሀሳባቸውን እየገለፁበት ከሚገኙበት መንገድ አንዱ የሆነውን “የነጩ ፖስታ ጎርፍ ወደ ነጩ ቤተ መንግሥት” ንቅናቄ ዘመቻን ሁሉም የዩኒቨርሰቲ ማህበረሰብ በተገኙበት የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት ክቡር ዶ/ር ብርሀነመስቀል ጠና በይፋ አስጀምረዋል፡፡
በዚህ የንቅናቄ ዘመቻ ላይ አሻራቸውን ለማኖር ለተገኙ መምህራን፣ የአስተዳደር ሠራተኞችና ተማሪዎች ፕሬዝዳንቱ የዘመቻውን ዓለማ ሲያስረዱ የምዕራቡ ዓለም በተዛባ አመለካከት በኢትዮጵያ ላይ እያደረገ ያለውን ጫና ከመቋወም በዘለለ ንቅናቄው ትክክለኛ መረጃንም መስጨበጥ አላማው እንዳደረገ ተናግረዋል፡፡ ፕሬዝዳንቱ አክለውም ዜጎች ከዚህ በፊት በእንዲህ አይነት ሁኔታ በነቂስ ወጥተው በአንድ ድምፅ የተቃውሞ መልዕክታቸውን በቀጥታ ለነጩ ቤተ-መንግስት ሲልኩ በታሪክ የመጀመሪያ እንደሆነ አስረድተው ይህ ንቅናቄ ምዕራባዊያን ትክክለኛ መረጃ አግኝተው ትክክለኛ ውሳኔ መወሰን እንዲችሉ እንደሚረዳቸው ያላቸውን እምነት ገልፀዋል፡፡
የዩኒቨርሰቲ ማህበረሰብም ይህንን ዓላማ ተገንዝቦ በመርሀ-ግብሩ ላይ በነቂስ ወጥተው እንዲሳተፉና ሀገራቸውን ከሴራ የመከላከል ዘመቻው አካል እንዲሆኑ መልዕክታቸውን ከስተላለፉ በኃላ ዶ/ር ብርሀነመስቀል ጠና በንቅናቄው ዘመቻ መልዕክታቸውን በፊርማቸው በነጩ ፖስታ ለነጩ ቤተ-መንግሥት በማስተላለፍ ንቅናቄውን አስጀምረዋል። መላው የዩኒቨርሰቲው ማህበረሰብም ፊርማውን በማኖር “የነጩ ፖስታ ጎርፍ ወደ ነጩ ቤተ መንግሥት” ንቅናቄ ዘመቻን በይፋ ተቀላቅለዋል፡፡

Kotebe Metropolitan University (KMU) Receives Quality Honorable Mention Award for Two Consecutive Years

Kotebe Metropolitan University has won Honorable Mention Award for second time in two consecutive years. The Award was presented to the University by the Ethiopian Quality Award Organization at the ceremony held at EFDR’s Grand Palace on the 18th of September, 2021. It was remarked that the Award has been given to the University after a rigorous assessment against international standards of quality pillars for higher institutions. The major pillars of the evaluation were leadership, policy and strategy, resource management, customer satisfaction, institutional performance and impact on society.

Dr. Berhanemeskel Tena, the President, acknowledged on the event that KMU has achieved this success through collocative efforts made by all University communities amid the COVID 19 pandemic hostile and threatening working environment. The Present hence congratulated all the University community members for the remarkable achievement. He also accentuated that further tremendous efforts have to be made for the institutional transformation. On the conclusion, Dr. Berhanemeskel calls on every University member to work hard in order to sustain this glorious achievement to a higher standard in the years ahead.

KMU Supports War Victims in two Regions of Ethiopia

Kotebe Metropolitan University has mobilized aids of foods, sanitary facilities, bonded mattresses and other supports to the highly vulnerable war victims of the Afar and Amhara regions. The President, Dr. Berhanemeskel Tena said that this support has been offered for the third time since the TPLF clique orchestrated war against our country and left spilling unrest across the two regions in Ethiopia. In different phases, the University’s community pledged one month salary and already provided for the GERD project; and in the same year, the staff offered additional one month salary for the Ethiopian National Defense Army. The President added that this support is life-saving assistance being transported for those affected by war. The loads to the Amhara region is led by Dr. Hailemichael Mule and to the Afar by Mesfin Wondosen. On the farewell program, the President underscored that, “Our University’s community is always committed to assist those who pay heroic sacrifice for the Unity and dignity of this great Nation!”

ኮተቤ ሜትሮፖሊታን ዩኒቨርሲቲ መካከለኛ አመራሮችን በአዲስ መልኩ ማደራጀቱን አስታወቀ፡፡

ዩኒቨርሲቲው በአዲስ መልክ በሜትሮፖሊታን ደረጃ ከተዋቀረ ጀምሮ፣ በለውጥ ጎዳና እንዲጓዝ ካስቻላቸው ዋነኛው ስራዎች መካከል የአመራሮች አደረጃጀት መሆኑ ተገለጸ፡፡ በዚህም መሠረት፣ ዩኒቨርሲቲውን ባለፉት አመታት ሲመሩ የነበሩና ጊዜያቸውን ያጠናቀቁት መካከለኛ አመራሮች የምስጋና ምስክር ወረቀት የተሰጣቸው ሲሆን፣ በምትካቸውም አዳዲስ አመራሮች ተመድበዋል፡፡
በርክክብ መርኃ-ግብሩ ላይ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር ብርሃነመስቀል ጠና እንደገለፁት ምደባው በውድድር እንደነበረና ምሳሌ ሊሆን በሚችል መልኩ የተከናወነ ሲሆን በርካታ ተወዳዳሪዎች ተሳትፈውበታል። ምርጫውም
ልምድን ፣ ለሥራ ያላቸውን ተነሳሽነትና ፍላጎትን መሠረት ያደረገ ነበር። ምደባው ለውጥን ማዕከል አድርጎ አዳዲስ አመራሮችን ወደፊት እንዲመጡ ያስቻለ ነው። በዚህም አዲሱ አመራር ዩኒቨርሲቲውን አሁን ከደረሰበት ደረጃ ከፍ ወዳለ ደረጃ ሊያሸጋግሩ ይችላሉ ተብለው እምነት ተጥሎባቸዋል ። በአዲስ አደራን የተቀበሉት እነዚህ አመራሮች ወደሥራ ከመግባታቸው በፊት የአመራርነት (Leadership) ሥልጠና እንደሚሠጣቸው ፕሬዚዳንቱ ገልፀዋል ።

·         የትምህርት ክፍያ በክሬዲት ሀወር (Credit Hour) ብር 600 ሲሆን በጤና የትምህርት ዘርፎች ክፍያው ይጨምራል፡፡
