About the Department

The then Department of Biology, which is currently called as Department of Biology Education is among five departments that are found in College of Science and Mathematics Education.  The department has approved various curriculums to offer biology education related programs for diploma, bachelor degree and master students. The department has 29 highly-qualified and experienced staffs.  Among the staffs, 11 have PhD degrees, 6 are PhD candidates studying in local and abroad universities, 10 are MSc. holders and 2 have BSc degrees serving as laboratory technicians. Beside teaching activities, various research projects focusing on education and different community service projects are also under progress.
