Department of Psychology
Overview
The Department of Psychology is among the five departments of CES, KUE. The department offers currently BA Degree in Psychology and BEd degree in Educational Psychology in the regular and weekend programs. The department runs two post graduate programs named MA degree in Educational Psychology and MEd degree in Counseling Psychology. The department has also the plan to launch more graduate programs, including doctoral – level programs, in line with the mission of KUE. The major activities of the department include the following:-
- Offering common course and specialized courses for the students of the department and students from all colleges within the university.
- Offering professional training to teachers within the university.
- Offering professional training to teachers and other administrative workers to other institutes like secondary and primary schools as part of community services.
- Undertaking various research projects.
- Providing consultancy service for relevant sectors and organization.
