(KUE, November 4, 2025)— Kotebe University of Education’s Vice President for Administration and Development, Dr. Shimelis Zewdie, signed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) agreements with various offices, directorates, and units under his office, as well as with other offices that share responsibilities with the Vice President for Administration and Development, during an official ceremony held at the university’s Senate Hall.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Shimelis emphasized that the signing ceremony represents the cascading of performance agreements previously signed between the University President and the Vice Presidents. He highlighted that the purpose of this cascading process is to ensure accountability at all levels — making every activity measurable, enabling performance-based rewards, and monitoring whether responsibilities are being properly discharged. He further noted that the collective efforts of all employees are essential to fulfilling the university’s overarching mission.
Mr. Gebremeskel Girma, Special Assistant to the Vice President for Administration and Development, provided a briefing on the key areas covered by the agreements and facilitated the signing process.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Shimelis entrusted each office head with the responsibility of executing their duties with utmost diligence and commitment.
